
From the 1930s, for over 50 years, Whitton Tower housed The Ethel Watson Convalescent Home for Children. Many of the former residents return to visit the house with fascinating tales from their time there.
They remembered the “Kissing Tree” at the bottom of the garden and the door into the secret garden. And of course the view of Sharpe’s folly from the dormitory.
